What do YOU see?
In CORE, we have been learning all about our Five Senses. While learning about our sense of sight, we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Eric Carle and Bill Martin, Jr. Students then created their own page for the story. Click on the document below to see their creations!

Magnets!
Today we began studying Magnets during CORE. After finding out some of the kids' background knowledge, the kids learned that magnetism is the force that pulls a magnet toward an object. They also learned that it is very important to keep magnets away from things like computers. The kids took turns testing a few teacher-chosen items to identify some magnetic materials. They were eager to then explore the classroom with a partner to identify what around them is and is not magnetic!

Silly Class Photo
In an effort to wish Brayden farewell before moving, we took a class photo for him to take with. While doing so, the kids insisted on taking a silly snapshot. What a fun bunch!
